Beginners Courses in Indian Cuisine
Lost kitchen has evolved from my passion for food. Over the years I’ve searched for places which create authentic, homemade, traditional Indian cuisine, but struggled to find what I was looking for. This inspired me to create lost kitchen.
I started cooking when I was eight years old. Being the eldest of seven sibling girls I was always helping my mum in the kitchen.
Mum and I were always recreating recipes which had been passed down through generations.
My grandparents originated from India but my parents were from East Africa which enabled me to learn traditional Indian food from different regions of India as well as Indian/ African cuisine.
The influences from both countries have enabled me to recreate recipes with a fusion twist.
I always looked forward to meal times as all the family would come together talk, laugh and enjoy the food.
My own family life is still the same today, practicing the same values as my parents, making a variety of foods in the company of my friends and loved ones.
I have always believed food has always been the heart of my family and I would love to share my culinary experience with you.
